The beautifully restored stone country house is located in Chianti halfway between Florence and Siena. Shortly after exiting the Superstrada, you will find this quiet, tranquil and private spot. And yet, it is walking distance to the charming village of San Donato in Poggio where you will find a deli, coffee bar, small market, pharmacy, bancomat, restaurants and other shops. You can relax and settle into a different rhythm here under the wisteria-covered pergola or on the covered loggia or by the beautiful swimming pool which is surrounded by flower-filled antique orci. Or take a hike in the woods or to a near-by winery. At Podere Erica you rent the entire beautiful home and property (not individual suites) by the week, from Saturday to Saturday.
